Rumour has it that..

"...a mid air collision between two red arrows in the last hour or so? The MoD are being predictably evasive.

Apparently the two aircraft touched - but both managed to land safely and pilots are shaken but ok..... "

Reminds me of a story my old man told about the USMC.

A big fly past had been organised for some important 'thing', lots of VIP's and the like. Masses of F-18s and AV8s were formed up when all of a sudden:

In a high pitched scaredy voice.
"Big Boy leader, Big Boy leader this is Big Boy 3. Big Boy 5 has just hit me."

In a big, manly, gruff, smoker and drinkers voice.
"Big Boy 3 shut up. Big Boy 5, stop crashing into Big Boy 3, Big Boy leader out!"

Made me chuckle anyway.
