New kind of LASIK

I dont know if many of you know about this new thing they are trying to perfect but my optition was telling me of something similar to LASIK but without leaving any scars.

I intrested as im sure many of you are that wear glasses and wondering if anyone will have any info on it. Will it be accepted by the caa ?

As far as I am aware, the CAA require a gap of approximately 12 months between surgery and re issue of the medical certificate.

I suppose that they would require significant proof that the new procedure was fail safe before applying the same requirements.
