Hi - does anyone know if there are any polaris inflatable flying boats in the UK ?

Has anyone flown one abroad ?

http://www.polarismotor.it/

Just seen one being flown on the TV and looked a lot of fun, would love to see one and maybe have a go, although I have never flown a microlight.

I don't know if she ever comes on Pprune, but there is/was a microlight instructor at Old Sarum called Anna Markey who had done a lot of flying in similar aircraft in Sweden. I'm sure that if you speak to OSFC they can put you in touch.

Cheers Ghengis - will check it out.

Barshifter, good video, looks a bit scary, cant quite see it being like that on the River Medway...

Thinks might be a great distraction whilst on Holiday somewhere sunny and warm

I flew the polaris in Africa about 10 years ago, slow, yawed alot, but interesting.
