Background Noise

Installshield Update Manager has just started appearing on my pc at startup. Not sure where it came from although I did recently (but well before this thing arrived) update to IE7 and WMP11. Found some info about in saying it ships wth various software and often mentioning WordPerfect which I don't have. Anyone else had this or have any info?
