The CAA has issued LASORS 2007.

The LAS section brings together all the flight crew licensing information otherwise found in JAR-FCL, the UK ANO, AICs and the old CAPs 53/54.

Regulations and procedures change between the annual publishing of LASORS and these updates are notified by AICs and published on the CAA website www.caa.co.uk/srg/licensing (http://www.caa.co.uk/srg/licensing).

The ORS section is intended to be a one-stop reference for all aspects of safe aeroplane operation.

I heard the 2009 copy was being delayed untill the 1st of June (or was that the 1st week of June).
Does any one have an update on this and where can order one from.

I don't know when it's due for publication.
I've always found 'Transair' very efficient with a next-day mail order service.

TSO (the publishers) have on their website, delayed until 19 Aug 2009.

The 2008 version is still on the CAA site, and I am sure the 2009 release will coincide roughly with the hard copy publication.

Let's hope that the 2009 .pdf version will revert to the somewhat smaller filesize of the 2007 version. The 2009 edition was inflated to 74 Mb.:(

Perhaps they should rename it 'Lasors 2010' but then I guess if they did that it would take another year for the copy to be approved...

As of today (18Sept09) the 2009 Lasors is still absent from the CAA site.

Any clues to why and when?

Strange conicidence I looked for it this morning and found that TSO and Transair both imply thats is now going to be LASORS 2010 with a publication date of Late January 2010.

Notwithstanding what Ivor says which is pretty much spot on.

They've postponed it again.

I think I'd call it LASORS 2011 if I were them.
