Just to say congratulations to the flightcrew on this one - very nasty gusting crosswind (up to 44kts I found out later) but a fine landing after a very interesting approach!

In particular the briefing to passengers that a go-around was quite likely, explaining what would happen if we did go around etc probably kept quite a few pax from screaming!

Edited - actually it was LS204 , not sure why they're numbered 205 outbound and 204 inbound but there you go.

I guess the chaps/chapesses up the pointy end really start to earn their money when it gets a bit hairy...

I fly frequently with Jet2 (AMS-MAN-AMS) and I must say all their crews, flight deck and cabin, are a major credit to a rather decent little airline :)

you also put not sure why the flights were numbered 204 inbound and 205 outbound . it wasn't 205 out bound it was 203 .
