Received a directive from CASA today regarding Blade cracking in Australian Army Kiowa (B206) http://www.casa.gov.au/airworth/awb/62/003.pdf First thought, hope it is not a sign of things to come similar to Robinson blade problem. But that is only my opinion.

Unless the blade manufacturing process has changed in some important way, you wouldn't think it'd be any more likely than it ever has been for 206 blades.

For some reason I thought the Kiowa M/R blades were longer than the civvy B206  . Anyone confirm this?

I seem to recall the Kiowas have a Longranger length tail boom and Longy blades.
Also the Tail rotor blades are smaller like that of the earlier Jet Rangers....

Don't quote me.
