There was a Virgin Blue B737 parked on a remote stand at MCO today. Anyone know what it was and why? Didn't think they flew to the USA?

They don't. But obviously the aircraft are originally manufactured in the US, and parts of the assembly process (like installing the in-flight entertainment) may be subcontracted out and not done in Seattle. I forget the company at MCO who does this work, but they do a lot of it for others as well. I believe all the Jet Blue A320s go there before entry into service for the same reason.
