Chinook, 4 other helicopters and light aitcraft - 11th Nov

Just seen (10 mins ago) a Chinook and 4 other Military helicopters trailed by a light aircraft pass over Grays heading in the direction of LCY.

I am guessing its a remembarance day flight.

Seemed strage to see the light aircraft apparently in convoy. Was it part of the flight or just being nosey? :-) - like I am.

The light aircraft should have been a BN2T from which poppies were dropped.

Remembrance Day flypast comprised Lynx, Sea King, Chinook, Puma, Merlin and Islander.

Call sign Iceberg 1 - 6.

Anyone know the identity of any of the participants?

Thanks for all the info, curiosity satisfied. There are hundreds of poppies around Fenchurch Street station at present, presumably from this flight.
