A few months back I heard our good friend Ms. Tilton had her boys working on a single engined varient of the MD902. Has anyone else heard this? Seems like a good choice given the cramped cabin of the 500/600-series. Stick a T800 on top and you've got a machine! :}

Build in enough torque margin for the NOTAR demands in a 35 knot tailwind hover (yes I know we shouldn't but sometimes you have to) and they'll have a winner.

If it can hover OGE at 8500ft with 1000Kg of load in the cabin and then TAS at 135 knots at the same altitude, they'll sell at least 5......

It'd be nice to have all the seats facing forwards, but they won't have much to look at unless some fancy TV screens are installed.......

If P & W 207E engines were - say $250K each and a T800 around $400k you would still end up with an overly expensive single at $4m a copy?:)
