View Full Version : Myleene Klass visits troops in Afghanistan...

The Sun reports:

'AN RAF plane taking sexy Myleene Klass on a visit to troops in Afghanistan was shot at by Taliban fighters.
The TV babe, 28, also just back from Gran Canaria said: "As we flew into Kabul I heard this big 'thwack' on the plane. Then I could hear this grinding, which was the plane's defence shields being put up. It scared the daylights out of me."'

So was that the force field or the cloaking device, then?

Please, please tell me someone on here was flying that jet.

Silly woman...

Thinking aloud here:

Herc coming into Kabul, gear and flaps move for landing producing a 'grinding' noise -

Frightened singer: Oh my God, what's that noise??:{
Hairy Ar*sed LM : Don't worry that's just the defence shields going up!:E

All reported faithfully and accurately as ever by the journos :hmm:

Be fair, folks. If anyone knows about the sound of grinding it has to be Myleene.

You don't suppose Jane Fonda is ready for a reprise of her successful Viet Nam tours, do you?

Frankly, if she was dressed like that, I'm not surprised there were thwacking noises coming from the back of the aircraft. If I was on board she'd have heard some from the flight deck as well!

I bet she has done more for morale than any of the self-seeking, body guarded politicos that have gone out there recently for a bit of career boosting posing and stage managed glad handing!

Do you reckon that the Lads convinced her to not wear Body Armour???

More likely there was a rush of volunteers to help her put it on and take it off...

Lets just hope she doesn't rock up on stage naked but for a bit of cam-cream and a pair of roll-mats on her arms.

I laughed so hard at the defence shields bit when the paper rocked up this morning that a little bit of wee came out!

Yes the defence shields did make a bit of a grinding noise as I bravely wrestled with the controls of the stricken jet as it plummeted earthwards just missing that primary school on finals! We had to put some WD40 on them before we got airborne again and covered the bullet holes with speed tape :-)

Actually she seemed like quite a nice girl and smelled a lot more pleasant than the rest of the flight deck crew(not difficult)!

Flap 62,

I thanked God that I had one of these:

Because otherwise, my laptop would have been filled with diet coke, instead of liberally but harmlessly sprayed.

I'm away from Lyneham at the moment - but from your post, has DT has been promoted?

Self-important, self-obsessed, self-promoting skinny bint. No I wouldn't kick her out for eating toast in bed - but she's nowhere close to the class of that bird in uniform in the caption contest a few months back.

I 'ad that Scarlet Church in the back of me cab last week....

Coming from 6 generations of classical musicians on her father's side: Myleene's grandmother was an opera (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opera) singer and her grandfather left his violin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violin) to her which she later went on to play.
Klass began to learn the piano and violin from the age of 4 and then the harp at 12. Myleene then took all her Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams in violin, piano (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano) and voice whilst still at school. Her success lead her to receive an A grade in A Level Music, as well as becoming a Norfolk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norfolk) County scholar.[1] (http://www.classicfm.com/article.asp?id=227412)
Myleene's education was at Notre Dame High School (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notre_Dame_High_School_%28Norwich%29) in Norwich (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwich), before going to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guildhall_School_of_Music_and_Drama) followed by the Royal Academy of Music (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Academy_of_Music)'s Junior Academy.

No offence taken, me old! Hope all is well on the mighty J?

FWIW, I've never had a prob with the J - just their airships' at Grope apparent blinkered happiness to accept a capability gap while the J gets all its clearances and defensive aids. The K should have been retired by now!

Sending any people to do a job without the right kit and expecting them to 'get on with it' is nothing short of immoral. Some gung-ho 'middle managers' have not done the J any favours, either. Nobody wants another XV179 - this time, the serial number startiing with a Z!

Back to thread ....... Myleene has a fantastic pair of brains and I, for one, would love her to blow my trumpet!
