JAA Class 1 Medical Renewal Outside Europe

Hi Guys,

I currently hold a JAA CLass 1 issued by the UK CAA. I have the opportunity to Hour Build abroad, and would like to take this offer up. I however am concerned about letting the medical lapse as it may, due to financial constraints, take me more than a year to build the magic 150!!!

Does anyone know of any AME's outside Europe in the Americas (The whole thing not just the United States of ) who can renew a JAA Class 1?

There is a Dutch JAA AME in ST Maarten, just a walk from that famous beach. You should be able to google him.

What kind of hour building would take you more than a year for 150 hoours??

Thanks Irishpilot, I will look him up...

The kind of Hour building is one where I can manage maybe an hour per week if I am VERY lucky and two hours per month at worst...

As I said financial constraints... I will be working abroad to fund it.
