HI everyone,

i would like to start a ppl- training next year and thinking of doing that in the US. Due to weather conditions and reachability from Europe I think about doing in Florida.
After Internet research for Flight schools there I am more puzzled than before about what school to take for a full- Time Training (I have no ambition of becoming CPL later on).

What schools can be recommended in Florida?
Does anyone have experience with : Blueskyaviation- Bob Gaff?

Appreciate your comments
Thank you
Andai

Andai,

I see from your location that you are in Japan.

Do you wish to learn in Florida and then fly after you pass in Japan?

I'm not familiar with the requirements to fly in Japan, but it may be earier for you to try and find that (I've had a quick search on Google, but nothing obvious).

There are other places like South Africa, New Zealand and Australia (amongst ohter places) that have full time courses for flying training, and you may find it easier to get access to the training there (less difficult visa requirements).

I would recommend San Diego as a good place in the states to fly. I`ve just done my JAR PPL there and the weather was great everyday, the terrain challenging and the local airport very busy indeed.....but great fun.
