I found this helicopter accident on the internet and I'm sure many have seen it already. I am extremely curious to find out more about it, in particular whether or not the poor chap who jumped or was thrown out managed to survive.

I think this was covered in a previous thread if memory serves me. Long and short of it;
French Puma doing a Swat team insertion. Dinks tail in due to quite a harsh flare close to the ground. Mr Newton then takes over with his third law (if you go frame to frame, you can see the hockey stick bent up). Wild ride ensues and the chappy in the door exits stage right. He is lucky enough to not get twatted by the revolving Puma, it just misses him each time it spins. If you look closely at the end of the clip, you can see him appear from around the transport joint area. From what I remember, he was decidedly pished off but ok.
