Hello, does anyone know what type of Aircraft Monarch use to Deer Lake,Canada and if you can prebook actual seat numbers etc - what would the best seats be? Any other info much appreciated i.e is the any IFE?

Thanks

It will be a 757. Don't know if you can pre-book seats as it is a charter - I guess your travel agent will have the answer to that. I'm sure you will be able to request seats at check - in and there may be a charge for legroom seats.

I think most of the time the loads are around the 100 mark and on a 213 seat aircraft - that means pleanty of room.

Hope this helps - and is an acurate answer (perhaps someone else might care to add to it).

Regards,

BP

Blimey, 213 seats on a 757 - that's 7% more than a BA config, which isn't exactly generous in the seat pitch department. I don't think I'd want to fly to Canada in one, even if it's only half-full!

If your really lucky :E you could be on one of the 757's that are configured at 235 seats.
If you were to pay the $48000 that some of our clients pay the company may lay on the 92 seat configured aircraft (yeah right!!!).

235 seats! Assuming that BA are at around 31" pitch , my calculator gives the pitch for 235 seats as 26" - is that legal (or even physically possible). Or is this some 'stretched' 757 variant that I wot not of?

BA's seats are indeed around 31", but dont forget they also have a club class..which from memory have a 36" pitch.

Our 235 config 757's have a 28" pitch from memory:ok:

And I didnt like the carpet either:yuk:
