Yesterday (Tuesday) there was an E-3 AWACS circling over Glasgow at low altitude. Does anyone here have any idea what it was up to?

The E-3s, as well as all the other types, have to train somewhere. It was a training flight. Nothing sinister. Even one of the crew mwmbers on board replied.
Don't worry, the aliens aren't invading just yet.
