I saw what look like a Yak-52 in the Green Peoples Republic of China Air Force colour scheme at Shoreham airshow. Does anyone know the history of it, what it is, registration info etc etc?

Thanks

There was a Nanchang CJ-6A there on Saturday- there's at least two on the UK register this one (http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?categoryid=60&pagetype=65&applicationid=1&mode=detail&aircrafttype=CJ-6A&dataindex=0) and G-BXZB.

No sweat mate - although it's been here for years, I think it was the first time I'd ever seen it in the flesh...

Enjoy the show? Did you you get any pics? Weather was a wee bit garish with all that haze!

I had actually seen the aircraft in question at Woodchurch a few weeks back but didn't get any pictures of it that were any good. It was nice to see it at Shoreham.

Link to Nanchang CJ-6A Chujiao (G-BVVG) at Shoreham, 17th September 2006 (http://richardflagg.fotopic.net/p34209320.html)

The Shoreham pics will be up later tonight, just finishing sorting them out! Gimme half an hour and I'll post a link to them
