Can't make Chicago - but am ticketed to fly into Toronto on October 16th and would most certainly delay my onward flight out of there if anybody else fancied a night at the concert in Canada.

I've seen the last 2 Maiden shows in Chi-town (2003 and 2005) but sadly can't make it this time. I'll see them a few times in Europe though. ;)

I'll see them twice at Earls Court. I hope those shows won't be the end of the tour in support of the new album, as it deserves more shows (yes, it's that good).

I'll be at the show in Birmingham in December I think it is...

Absolutely cool! And finally dropped number of the beast and other regulars, it was about time!

The set is perfect, they may add just one classic short songs to give the non hardcore fans a little bonus but they shouldn't take out anything of the current set in my opinion!

Given the amount of material the band have it'd be impossible to keep everyone happy (I'd love to hear 'Run Silent Run Deep' done live!). but the setlist is excellent, I honestly can't wait to hear the new songs live, it's going to be fantastic.

Yeah, it's definitely one of the best Maiden setlists ever! It's really a great move to play the whole album back-to-back live! A Matter of Life And Death is one of their strongest records ever and I'm sure the new songs will sound phenomenal in concert! Can't wait to see them in Europe! :cool:

In December, (23), I am taking my son and his best mate to see them at Earls Court London, I couldn't get anymore tickets and thought it would be selfish to deny one of them the opportunity.

There might be some spare tickets at the Iron Maiden Bulletin Board. Perhaps you can get one there.

Apparently they're planning a 'Live After Death' tour for 2008, that'd be great! Can't ait til december 20th though, and from what I've heard this tour is great & AMOLAD sounds superb live :ok:

Surely it would be great. There are plans for some festivals in 2007, probably mixing the setlist a bit more, although the idea of playing the whole AMOLAD is factastic!

My guess for 2008 is that the set would comprise of Powerslave, S.I.T. & 7th son. Still that's a long way off yet & right now they're obviously pretty damn proud of the new material, and it's going to be great. The great thing is that the band aren't a nostalgia act & are definitely challenging themselves with the new album & tour. The reviews on the IM BB have been very positive & the clips I've seen on youtube have been great too.

Yeah, that might be the stuff they play in 2008. However, some people (Nicko himself) have been giving hints that the AMOLAD tour might be extended in 2007, doing some weeks of shows (some sources have told me that in late Spring-early Summer). Probably they would mix the setlist a bit for that leg of the tour, although I wouldn't mind if they kept on playing the same stuff they are doing on this leg.

I'm grinning like Dave Murray this morning after what was a superb show in Dublin last night, amazing stuff! Band & crowd were in excellent form.

As usual technically brilliant, and love the new stuff. Pleased Bruce has his old voice back!

The crowd was DEAD ! In the mosh pit all well and good, but in the seats, no signs of life at all!! What was going on???????

Realised T shirt was wearing was 20 years old from the SIT tour! Eeek. Half audiance not born (including girlfriend) the first time I saw them.

Been a few years since I was at that muddy field with the road around the outside. May just have to go visit it again this summer!:ok: :D :ok:

That was one of the best Maiden tours ever! I was so lucky to witness this spectacle 4 times (Stockholm with "Bruce Air", 2 x Milan and Dortmund). I love the new album, A Matter of Life And Death and it was amazing to hear it live! :cool:

I was at Earls Court on 23rd December.

Absolutely fantastic gig. :D Not many bands could get away with playing an entire album from start to finish but Maiden pulled it of with style.

I would give "A Matter Of Life and Death" 9.9 out of 10. The only reason I didn't give it 10 out of 10 is that I think "For the Greater Good of God" should end with the last "Tell me why....." I think the last little instrumental bit at the end reduces the song's impact. But hey that just my opinion!

If you read this Bruce, many thanks for a great night! Our paths crossed once for the briefest of moments at LGW. I wanted to tell you how much of a Maiden fan I am but the timing would not have been appropriate.

Both Earls Court gigs were amazing. Probably two of the best Maiden shows I have ever seen and Bruce's singing was incredible.
Moreover, I experimented the most surreal thing of my whole life with my girlfriend on the afternoon of the 22nd. We met Bruce going to pick his wife with his car in central London!!! :eek:

Nice to see so many Maiden fans around. This Summer I will see them in Mérida (Spain), Trondheim and Oslo (Norway) and Gothenburg (Sweden).

And I'm going to see them in Denmark/Horsens next month!!

I celebrated finishing training with a trip to Twickenham last night, was a great evening, medical renewal and hearing could be tougher than it was before!!!. Mind you I had to do something more exciting than looking for temp/contract work and waiting for a type rating date.
