Ingredients:
Large prawns (bigger the better)
1lb bacon
1 bottle of Jack Daniels
1 knob of butter
1 pint maple syrup
1 box of toothpicks
Boil the prawns for 3-5 minutes or until pink, but don't over cook.
Fry bacon, but make sure not to over cook it. This recipe won't work if you cook the bacon until its crispy.
Wrap the prawns in bacon and hold together with a toothpick.
saute the wrapped prawns in a combination of butter, syrup, and JD - keep the heat medium-low to medium to delay the caramalization effect.
The end product should be a wrapped prawn drenched in a heavy sauce from the pan.
