Fatal Crash in Voss, Norway

A helicopter crashed today in Voss, Norway, killing two omboard. :{

They were doing some arial work up at a ski centre just outside Voss called Bavallen, when the accident occured.

My thoughts and condolences to the families of the two omboard.

was it a squirrel?

It was a squirrel used by a company called "Fonnafly" AS-350B2 Ecureuil LN-ODH. Eye witness reports were saying they saw the helicopter at a high altitude when a small bang was heard, followed not so long afterwards by a bigger bang. The helicopter was seen to start spinning, and headed to the ground. The two crewmen were already dead on the arrival of the emergency services. Norwegian Lufthavarikommisjon (AAIB) are reported to be on site at midnight tonight CET. :sad:
