Guys - I'm currently on hols in Orlando and wondering if someone could please give me some advice as to where is the cheapest place to do a couple of hours dual pleasure flying (PA28, C-172 or other 4 seater).

I spent yesterday going about a few places - but everything seems to be c.$160 an hour - which is a lot more expensive than what I expected - and infact more expensive than I pay in the UK!

Any advice would be much appreciated...

Also - any cheap aerobatics, seaplanes....??

Epic Aviation at Symrna are very good priced. Or where last year. They are a Cessna house.

150's and 172's were under $100 an hour and the 182 with decent moving map's were $130 an hour.

I believe some of thier 172's have diesel engines now.

My instructor used to work for Epic...Brian Mckim

Sunstate Aviation and American Flyers at Kissimee airport.
DebonAir at TitusVille. All reasonable priced.
But remember, if you ask for the cheapest, you get what you pay for.
Maintenance and staff has to be paid somehow.
How come nobody (or too few) ever ask about the BEST place to rent?

I used to be FI in Lake Wales and we used to be cheapest.
Otherwise at Sebring there is Lockwood aviation. If you go there be sure to give my best to Romke Sikkema, their main man.
