Would anybody have contact details (ideally e-mail) for the French DGAC for applying for an exemption from displaying registration markings in France?

We have a UK-registered aircraft (with UK CAA exemption) that is in a military colour scheme and would like to take it to France, if possible.

Many thanks.

Many thanks but I have tried that e-mail address and it has bounced back to me. I also tried an old DGAC address with no luck.

Any suggestions, from anybody, are welcome.

DGAC (French CAA) unique structure e-mail address is:
[email protected] (no block letter, no accent, no cedilla...)
For your question, the DGAC responsible is Monsieur Philippe AURADé.
There is no problem at all, you wil receive a exemption (in French), provided he receives your CAA exemption.
You phone, you fax ou you e-mail to this gentleman working in DGAC central office at Paris:
Direct line: 01 58 09 42 98
Direct fax: 01 58 09 43 47
e-mail: [email protected]
Hopes that helps.

Let me know by PM if you have further problems, as I know of an aircraft that is in its RAF scheme that went to France in June, and came back :ok:

Thanks for the replies.

I will try the philippe aurade address and let you know the result.

I am sure it won't be a problem taking it to France - it would just be nice to have the paperwork in order.
