Hey all, I am a mechanical engineering student, and as part of my final year project I have been set a project to design a drivetrain for an existing product. As I have already done some flight training in an R22 I have chosen the R22.
However I have been unable to find the weight of the R22 drivetrain.
What I am after is the weight of the whole system, ie MR gearbox, MR shaft, clutch, belts, TR shaft, TR gearbox, ect..
If anyone has, or knows where I can get the exact weights, that would be great. However even an approximate weight would be good for a start.
Thanx

You might try these guys,

www.heliflite.com.au

follow the links to service or spares I'd reckon.

Mind you I'd suggest you work on a new MR Blade design.

:ugh:

Thanx I tried that, but under spares it just directs you to a page with a picture, and a short paragraph saying they have spares.
I emailed robinson, but they havent got back to me yet.
Anyone?
