Hi,

Is there anyone out there who has some photos of the Boston at the RAAF museum Point Cook? Any photos would be greatly appreciated as we are trying to get the colour and decal scheme just right for a model we have just started.

Thanks in advance.

You mean this one? (http://www.pacificwrecks.com/aircraft/a-20/A28-8.html) If so, just Google 'Point Cook Boston' - as well as the former, you get this (http://www.oldcmp.net/point_cook.html#boston) and this (http://www.defence.gov.au/raaf/raafmuseum/exhibitions/restoration/boston.htm)

If you're looking for more than that, I'd suggest that might be better on the History and Nostalgia forum, since historic photos seem to get a bit more coverage there!

Also, I'm fairly sure that one of the aviaition magazines recently did a feature on the Boston, and the Point Cook one was covered. I think it was in Fly Past, but I may be wrong. It might be worth going to the Key Publishing site (they produce Fly Past) here (http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/index.php) and posting on the historic aviation thread. Some of the posters there have formidable collections of photos and seem to be happy to share them.

Archimedes, you are truly a gentleman and a scholar. Those will help no end. It seems that my searches were a little more specific than needed.

Thanks again.
