Can someone please point me in the direction of an online list/database for N reg aeroplanes in the UK. I am presuming there must be something similar to G-INFO from the FAA.

Cheers!

Check out http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/ though it does not specifically list N registered aircraft in the UK

That's not complete.

Of course the above FAA URLs yield only those N-reg planes whose owners are US citizens living in the UK.

If you are a US citizen living in the UK, you can simply keep an N-reg plane in your own name, no need for a trust.

Other than Southern Aircraft (a US citizen living in the UK and acting as a trustee for many others) etc, this is not a useful database.

Very true. Many natural Americans use trust companies for financial reasons.

Eurocontrol must have a > 2000kg database, for billing purposes, but that isn't public.

Here's what the spotters think:

Funny how these spotters manage to get inside hangars to read off the airframe serial number :yuk:

I think they must use the FAA database site for many of the serial numbers.

Yes, indeed. A curious hobby; they may as well be collecting batch numbers from Mars bar wrappers.
