Evening,

In light of what happened yesterday, the Virgin Atlantic timetable would of got disturbed some what....

1. I saw a Virgin 747 vectoring from the MIRSI VOR to 24L/R at/around 9.00am this morning. Would this of been VIR074 operating the flight from the previous day, this would have made sense, as there have been significant delays?

2. I saw a Virgin 747 vectoring from the MIRSI VOR to 24L/R at/around 13.00pm this afternoon. What flight could this be?

My only thoughts where that it could be the same aircraft from this morning?it had enough time to turn around and depart for Orlando, thus being told to turn back early in the flight?

Or it could of been a diverted flight?

Hope you guys could help me with this, i hope im not going loopy!!

cheers

scott

The first aircraft you saw was the delayed VS76 from Orlando. The second was the delayed VS74 also from Orlando.

Double daily service Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

... and given the enforced restrictions at LHR/LGW, I'm surprised tricky Dicky doesn't run a few more flights via MAN with free train train tickets oop north on his train set?
