Not certain if this is the proper place to ask this but I use a portable oxygen cylinder to enable me to walk further than I would otherwise be able to do, (I suffer from sever emphesema) knowing that so many things are banned on aircraft nowadays can I carry one in the cabin and also can I pack them in my suitcase?

Some airlines allow you to take your own, ( including I think Easyjet), but only the minority.

Most of the rest will supply in-flight Oxygen, some free but most charge. It depends on the airline you choose, so contact them and ask about their policy.

Some websites such as the British Lung foundation have sections on flying with Oxygen and may help, otherwise ask at the respiratory clinic for advice, next time you're in there.

Some will also require you to get a form called MEDIF filled out by your doctor.

Good Luck!
