Emergency for Wales-bound plane

A passenger jet flying to Cardiff airport from Spain has been forced to make an emergency landing in Tenerife after a fire alarm in the cabin.
The Excel Airways plane turned back shortly before midday on Friday, 45 minutes into the flight.
A spokesman for Tenerife Sur airport said the landing had happened "normally and without any injury" to any of the 188 passengers or five crew.
An inspection of the plane's fuselage found there was nothing wrong. Passengers were taken to a nearby hotel.

Surely, for 188 pax, there should be 6 crew (2 flight deck and 4 cabin (1 per 50 seats))???

I think you'll find the 5 that are referred to are the cabin plus the 2 in the sharp end makes 7

So if they only talk about the 5 crew in the cabin with an extra 2 (Canadian) flight deck crew, it is a case of the UK media once again ignoring the welfare of non-British citizens!;)
