I've just had a phone call from a mate of mine that owns Prestwold Hall near Loughborough. On 24th September, they're holding a charity fly-in there. Normally, I baulk at such things, but on this occaision, I'll turn up as it's for a worthy cause.

It's in aid of the County Air Ambulance: £100 buys you a high quality lunch for two, plus £25 for another one. All proceeds are going to the AA. Their food is generally first-rate.

Jet A1, fire cover and air/ground radio on the day.

Edward just called me to ask if I can put the word about. If you're interested, book in with Barbara Parrish on 01332 723385.

Event postponed: shame, it would have been good fun day out.
