Hi All,

I spotted this aircraft flying SW 5 miles from Brize Norton (over Witney to be exact) yesturday around 17:00. Today I have seen the same aircraft flying NE over the same location at the same time. It sounded old so i got the binoculars out and it looked like a B-26. Anybody also seen this aircraft??

L-o-n-g time since I've seen a B26. Place I once worked there were two based that were used as passenger aircraft.
Could you possibly have seen the Grumman Tigercat which I saw a few weeks back at Duxford. Pics Here:

Presume you mean B-26 Invader rather than Marauder? Could also have been the Scandanavian Historic Flight's A-26 which is inthe UK from time to time.

Tigercat is still here but I understand it made its last UK display the weekend HD took his pics and is heading back to the US soon - shame, lovely aeroplane! Nice pics HD, hope that isn't the last time we see one displaying here!
