On the side of the clip, it says that this guy "paid to have a fighter pilot make him black out over and over again". When i said "why would anyone want to do that" ..... i was not referring to getting a ride in a fast jet, but the fact he wanted to pilot to make him blackout !
I'm totally with you, flying in a fast jet has to be one of the most unique and awesome experiences out there !

Sorry Nick. I saw that vid a week ago and the blurb said that he was just a journo out for a freebee jolly, if he did pay someone just to make him black out then he could have just started an argument with a redneck, much cheaper.
Much like our Jeremy Clarkson who spewed his guts up in an Eagle. He got out of the backseat and pretty much collapsed with the exertion of being thrown about.

I know that the cousins are born with a wad on the go but I would seriously question the wisdom of chewing on a trip like that. I suspect that his potential life expectancy could have been somewhat diminished. Choke :eek:

The gum was ginger, and it was recommended for him to chew it while flying as it helps prevent air sickness.
He was up for a jolly, not to black out, he just wanted to experience a blue angels flight. There are five video clips covering the total flight, he blacked out about four times in total over the entire flight.
He does give a good commentary if you can find the original internet postings.
