Peak Flow

Hi guys I have a class 1 medical coming up and am a bit worried about the peak flow testing. Iam 24 185cm and shold be achieving 628, but my best
effort is only around 550.

Will this be a major problem? Iam not ashmatic, just i guess really bad at doing the test.

According to http://www.peakflow.com/ (http://www.peakflow.com/top_nav/normal_values/index.html) you can have 100(men), 85(women) less than predicted and this is still "normal". I have no idea what the CAA think about things but I had my class 1 a couple of weeks ago and my peak flow was pretty pathetic but I passed!

I wouldn't worry about it. To be honest - my peak flow was ok - I think you get to see the line that you have to get over and then keep blowing for about 6 seconds - my capacity test wasn't fantastic (apparently I never quite mastered the technique required on that one) but still passed.
