Travelling East to West High Wycombe towards Benson, 3000'. around 12:35

Looked like a great white goose :ok:

I last saw a white Geo-phys PBY on the Pan in Capetown 30 years ago, could this be the same one ?

Plane Sailing's G-PBYA... G-INFO (http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?categoryid=60&pagetype=65&applicationid=1&mode=detailnosummary&fullregmark=G-PBYA)

Pic shows it in its fire fighting scheme - it's now resplendent in an overall white USN scheme.

Dutch Cat PH-PBA was also flying at Legends over the weekend.

If it flies at Farnborough you can forget all the modern junk - this is a real plane. Some shots I took of the Catalinas at Duxford can be seen at these links:

Thanks ever so much for those pics.

Reassuring to see that somewhere someone have found the effort and time to restore these special birds.

History, if ever! :)
