I just watched the newslink and it's bloody shocking. My condolences to any pilot who has lost their medical because of this. Apparently the B757 and the BAe 146 are the worst offenders, which is a shame because they are both beautiful aircraft.

There is no doubt that the BAe 146 and B757 are beautiful aeroplanes & fly well but they are also gas chambers - any wannabe's thinking of flying them in the future should be issued with an health warning. Be warned.

In the meantime you could take the time to watch the documentary that AOPIS.org have produced (it is now available on their site) & make your own mind up.

The answer is under your nose.

Would I still like to fly these aircraft? Maybe. But wearing a gas mask might frighten the pax. ;)

Whoops, this topic nearly slipped off the agenda....................

Read it if you value your health.
