There's something about Parliament that makes MPs go soft in the head. After the totally idiotic Blair Labour soundbite "Tough on crime, Tough on the causes of crime!" such that life sentences now mean about 3 1/2 years, the Tories bring you this piece of idiocy:

"David Cameron wants to broaden the Tory party's appeal
Conservative leader David Cameron is expected to call for greater understanding of teenage "hoodies" in a forthcoming speech on social justice.

Mr Cameron will say teenagers who hide under hooded tops are trying to "blend in" rather than appear threatening.

He will describe hoodies as "a response to a problem, not a problem itself"......"

Hoodies are so CCTVs can't see who is going around vandalising and breaking into cars. Maybe if these 'yoofs with hearts of gold' were allowed access to MPs car parks he might understand the problem.

Where do they get them? I think I might just not vote next time.

I think I might just not vote next time.

Oh I will vote, but not for any of the three main parties, whose complete
disregard and contempt for the electorate has created a huge
democratic deficit in this country.

If the voters either wrote 'non of the above' on their
ballot papers, or voted en-masse for a fringe party then these smug
and inept politicians might just get the kick up the @<hidden> they so richly
deserve!! :ugh:

And if at any time you start to get a warm feeling towards any of them just keep
repeating the word Prescott...Prescott! That should help to cool things down!

One has to feel sorry for the brits. Their choice for the next prime minister looks very poor indeed! :yuk:

It seems Cameron has overestimated the electorate.

It's high time to do away with party politics altogether. All MP's should be able to vote in Parliament according to their electorate's wish and not that of any party.
It's called democracy.
It'll never happen:( :{
