Hi All,

Just ordered a new CAP 407 Logbbok and this tiny, horrible looking thing came through the door. Phoned to complain only to be told the CAA has reprinted them  , again!!!!, only in a small format.

Anybody Know why?

Is there anywhere you can still get the old one??:ok:

Thanks

L'

Just bought a CAP407 logbook at AFE at Oxford. They certainly had a few last week.

CAP407 old style is probably one of the world's most useless documents. Too much space wasted on Commander's name/Reggie/Type/Date with wholly inadequate space for route, no means of differentiating twin from single and no proper column for first take-off, last landing which you need for your CAT duty hours.

Obviously designed by the same bright spark who wanted a Tech Log with one A4 page per sector when CAP649 first came out!:*

Airtour used to do a nice one.

I use the Pooleys version of the Professional Logbook where you can actually put the route in.
