This is reported by german media.

Happened this wednesday morning in Nurenberg. 49 pax and 3 crew, all unhurt.

Apparently a/c was bound for zurich but returned after departure and overrun or departed the runway to the side and came to rest in the grass.

No more details reported.

I guess its a EMB 145.

Any more info, anyone?

Media now reporting the aircraft was operated by Cirrus Airlines.

Reason for he return is reported to be smoke in the cockpit.

edit:

Sorry, typo in the title of this reply. Should read 'Cirrus, NOT Swiss' instead of 'Cirrus NOR Swiss'

733driver, correct.

Funny enough, the EMB145 was originally registred as HB-JAT and flew for Swiss, now for Cirrus...

got a deja vu...

I recall the 18.07.2005 incident of another 145 also at NUE.
a/c wet into the grass ground looped about 200 degrees after touchdown in rainy cond. came from ZRH as well

possibly there are more occations like this one.

I know it was discussed somewhere in here but I didnt locate it.
