Remember it well, truck landing top by Dave Evans and Martyn Carrington. It took over from a Decathlon which had a rather too springy undercarriage for such an act!
This (http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?categoryid=60&pagetype=65&applicationid=1&mode=detail&owner=norman&dataindex=46) is the aeroplane in question I believe...

It was N2MD, and now painted in a yellow Cub scheme. Believe it was transferred to the UK register but cant find it.
Has a 90hp engine, metal prop and larger wheels, disc brakes. Much nicer aeroplane to land on a trailer than a Decathlon, even if you can't aerobat it as part of the act!:E

Can't believe I typed "truck landing top" when sober... rearrange into a well known airshow act...
Yep, N2MD, now G-KUUI...
thanks for the replies
I saw it display at Biggin Hill a few years ago, very interesting and very different, shame there is nothing like it around anymore.
