Ahem, (throat clear...)

Is it just me, or is our pre-occupation with procuring wide-body jets merely a reflection of the current incumbents in Government (big John et al)? Should we expect another round of tendering when the Blues get in? Would the Lib-Dems go for a more tapered aircraaft to reflect the fact they sit on the fence?

OK I'm duty bod tonight and bored... but an onslaught of original wit and humour will while away the hours until I'm back flying again!

I suspect that any manufacturer of "gravy trains" would do quite well selling to this lot!

In an idle moment, I looked at the MoD FoI pages. My, the cabinet uses 32 Sqn a lot...

Well the peoples party will want luxury as they labour under delusions of grandeur.

The Tories will only buy pedal powered craft.

As for the Lib Dems, would not a wide body be more suitable for anyone sitting on a fence?.
