Ringway Reports is showing a Herc did a flight from MAN to BRU today.

Anyone know what it was in for and when?

Yeah - I know that. It's sits ready for AOG, oil spill and the like.

Was just wondering what such an expensive machine was loading at Manchester for such a short hop to BRU.

Assuming its an outsized piece such an aircraft engine????

It "may" have brought a part INTO Manch.......:)
Tonight, we had a TCX B752 lob in, park [on Quebec] drop off some kit, and 45 mins later, swan off to Glasgow.
It does happen

TCX had a problem on Saturday and diverted to BRU. I believe it had to shutdown an engine inflight. Titan 757 was scrambled to rescue the straded pax. Herc may have been moving a replacement engine. Information is sketchy as it came from the Titan crew.

GP.

Twas carrying an engine (757 ?), seemed like quite a tight fit.

The Herc flew to MAN as ABR01P and out to BRU as ABR01, meaning it was loaded from MAN.

The 757 theory seems to solve it. I think it is a reasonably tight fit in a Herc - does anyone know where basic engine dimensions can be found? The manufacturers and operators sites don't seem to mention them.

MAN 777

Twas more likely an engine for an A320 as that's what diverted into BRU on saturday, heavy vibe in cruise.

At least thats what my source (who was on the flight) tells me
