Looks like they're getting closer to creating a cloaking device:

So, the real question - apart from the obvious 'Star Trek' use, what would ya use a cloaking device to do?

One already exisits, its called a boiler suit, wearing one of them and carrying a tool box renders you invisible to everyone who wears a suit or uniform to work, one swears one could walk into a nuclear weapon storage facility so clad, strip off the boiler suit within such a place and its like a Klingon War Bird uncloaking, people look up and start reaching for telephones or asking "Who the feck are you"

Saw something similar once Mr D. Top Secret HQ guarded to the nines (Should that be on the measurements thread) during an exercise. Tea lady turned up with trolley holding a tea urn and biscuits. They thanked her nicely and took it inside to the conference room full of wheels.

Pity about the 20lb bomb inside the tea urn...... :hmm:
