Poor old James... not sure he deserves all this bile really (well, I know 'Beautiful' tends to grate a bit but he's a good british export). Was in the year above me at school, making him older than his press suggests, nice chap.

Surely not - without wishing to be presumptuous, I think 'cortilla' may have been referring to the actual piece on the link being genious, and not squeaky blunt.

- at least I certainly hope so :uhoh:

There is also a version called My Cubicle -
My job is stupid
My day's a bore
Inside this office
From 8 to 4
Nothing ever happens
My life is pretty plain
Pretending that i'm working
Pray i don't get canned

My cubicle
My cubicle
It's one of 62
It's my small spce
In a crowded space

PM me for the mp3.

I like his music, but was very dissapointed when he was interviewed on a late show about 2 months ago., He is very soft spoken and almost girlish in his actions, (sorry bit fans ) and that is what got to me. How can a man be in the military and be like that? Ok I know he was a officer, he said that in the interview but I don't think he could shout an order so being a singer is probably a brill career move.

But I will still go out and get his next album if I like the stuff on it

Everybody knows that, unlike the fuzzy-wuzzies, guardsmen like it uppem.
I think it's the fur hat and no knickers that appeals to them.

From his official website:-
the next thing he knew he was in Kosovo with a gun and a guitar strapped to the side of a tank, wondering who he could possibly sleep with to get out of this war.

Blunt's music has been labelled too bland by many people, but last week he was given the music industry seal of approval when he won two Ivor Novello awards. "You're Beautiful" was voted international hit of the year and most performed work at the ceremony, which recognises songwriting talent.

Accepting his award, Blunt said: "To all those bastards who don't like my music - you're all adults, you can switch your radio off."

Asked if he ever got sick of his music, the former Household Cavalry officer whose love life, including a fling with Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, has made headlines, said: "I don't have to listen to it. I'm the one who sings it. And it's continued to get me laid." :}
