Just a question out of curiousity, do any of the CX 744F's have the cockpit enahancements (LCD displays etc) that now come standard with the new 744F's? Most of the CX 744F's seem to be delivered late 90's early 2000's which I believe is before the enhancements were available.

Thanks

Actually, we have 2 freighters that have LCD displays. HUQ is one of them, the other, I can't recal the registration, but I think it is HUO. None of the Planes have the single LCD standby PFD, they all have the old standard 3 instrument standby configuration.

I like the LCD displays better, it is just a little less radiation aimed at my nads. :uhoh:

Some guys preffer the CRTs because they have a higher resolution (the lines on the LCDs are thicker and under cluttered display configurations it all blends in together) :ok:

Recent news is Cathay has reserved the last 5 -400F freighter slots from boeing. Would the single LCD standby be used in these or the old style for commonality?

The other is HUH, I'm pretty sure.

Like them much better. Easier to read.
