Firstly I have searched for the answer to this and it came up with nothing.

I have a quick question regarding PIC hours. I have a FAA ppl/ir and just finshed my CAA cpl/me over in Florida. Now in order to issue me cpl I need 100 pic I had to return home with only 90 hours pic, is it possible to get the last 10 hours pic at home? Flying on my FAA ppl?

Hope someone can help

I suppose that finding an 'N'-registered aircraft would be one way, flying it exercising the priviledges of your American ppl.....

You should be able to use your FAA ppl in any ICAO member State. Like England or France for instance, and it doesn't have to be a N reg. a/c!!!
Its really simple just go to your local flight school, get checked out and thats it, you should be able to hire the a/c with no problems!!!

If you could, find an N reg and fly the 10 hours PIC as IFR or plan a few IFR trips, it would benifit you greatly when converting your IR as I suppose you will. I started with a faa/ir also but used it alot at home and found it helped significantly when converting and allowed me keep current.
