Virgin 747-400 at Cardiff

Saw G-VROY at CWL on Monday. Any idea what this was doing there? I know that CWL is a diversion airport for Virgin, but I am suprised noone has commented about this elsewhere on the forum.

Div in to Cardiff as VS038 Barbados to Gatwick, due to low vis procedures and a 45 min holding delay into Gatwick. Positioned back to Gatwick later in the morning:)

I hear one diverted in yesterday ex St Lucia.

Oops. Sorry, yesterday's was the div from Barbados - there may well have been one ex St. Lucia as well. The holding problems at Gatwick lasted until about 0930 local.:O

I'm just supprised I don't see more Virgin diversions here.

Some local coach company must have lucked out, then (awful for the pax, though)!
