Hey there I didn't know where else to psot this.. but i figured there'd probably be a faster response here. What is the lowest possible rank for a pilot in the U.S army? I was wondering because I don't think a pilot would be a private. please don't flame me for asking

Warrant Officer One....usually one year in grade to make Chief Warrant Officer Two....then up to CW5. Alternatively....could be a 2nd Lieutenant....then 1st LT, Captain.....

W1 is a Warrant Officer (Officer) rank....CW2 and up are Commissioned Officers....2nd LT and up are Commissioned ranks.

Only the Army could come up with a system like that.

US Warrant Officers have the status and privileges of Commissioned Officers, i.e. members of Officers Club and entitled to a salute.

After two years, it's a great honor to receive a Commission from the President of the United States, George W. Bush. :)

Please note the difference between New_WO1 (genuine) and New_W01 (imposter) in previous entries.
