Currently talkin to RAF for Loadmaster position. Have been workin as a civvy loadie for some years on 747 aircraft aswell as dangerous goods and radac trained. Do they look at any civilian qualifications and take into consideration on application or is it all worth nothing and a re-start from scratch..
Also im 27 so is this a 'mature age' to be enlisting

You will have to go through the full training regime. Do not worry too much about joining up at 27, plenty of serving airmen go through the system so you will fit right in(it will probably be a benefit truthfully a bit of maturity goes a long way).
There are loads of threads here to describe what you will go through a quick search will sort you out.

ALWAYS assume NEVER check

Just hope you dont get selected for aeop when you have been through your training. Once generic training is completed you are then streamed to where the wsop branch needs you. Has Jim Bowen said "Thats the gamble lets see which brevet you would have won"
