Does any body have any news / rumours on future Qantas S/O employment ?

Hugh.....dont think there will be any recruiting going on this year.Rumours are about 50 guys and girls in 2007,although the recruitment process as far as i've heard is continuing.

The numbers Q are looking for are approx 40 this year then 100 more each year for the next two years. Haven't heard any rumours regarding the next course but if they are to meet this figure then it must be soon.

My latest mail (litterally) is that there will be minimal hiring till 31 dec 2006 but stage 2 & 3 testing will continue. Several buddies within QF have sent me 2006/07 - 52
2007/08 - 140
2008/09 - 130
figures from Qantas crew room, so that must mean that jan to jun 07 should take a fair few. This seems to be in line with the lack of sim space till the end of the year.

just heard of a guy from work got a yes for the Qantas hold file, first yes in a while in my circles, anyone else getting the 'yes' for Qantas hold file at the moment? If so when is the next course? How many places are up for grabs minus cadets? Any insider info?

There are a few people I know with their interview/sim/medical in 2 weeks time. No other info on numbers or course dates.
