Just read the first part of David Morgans book in the Mail on Sunday. Perhaps we should all write a book, might be useful if JPA doesnt pay us. Seriously though, good idea?

Good to see the Sea Jet (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98152) getting some publicity.

WEBF, yes there is a novel by JN about a Tornado in the Falklands. In this fictional story the navigator is the hero and he single handedly saves the Argies from reinvading the Falklands.
Perhaps the author knows a Nav he has based this character on, who maybe needed to reinvent himself?????

David Morgan's story makes a nice change to re-reading Sharkey Ward's version:) .

From the Simon Kelsey book description:
'Tornado is the story of Squadron Leader James Watts and 43 Squadron, a jet fighter squadron based at RAF Leuchars in Fife. Deployed to the Falklands in response to a vicious attack on the air defences at Mount Alice, the men of 43 soon find themselves embroiled in a thrilling aerial war ( )that threatens to escalate further.

Meanwhile, MI6 operative Richard Thornley is hard at work trying to find the culprits. Together with RAF fighter controller Ellie McGinton, he ventures in to the heartland of Argentina (makes a change from Boulmer I suppose!;) ) to uncover a conspiracy that threatens to throw more than just the Falklands in to turmoil.

Both he and Watts must fight their own personal battles to defeat the threat – but can he avenge the death of his mentor? And has Watts met his match in the air? (as an F3 mate would he ever admit it anyway? :E )
