I'm after the facts and just the facts.

Captain pay, including allowances?
Planned flight hours per year?
Bond details (if applicable)?
Is it a 12 hour duty? If yes is the full duty at the airport?
Are you employed via an AWA or EBA?

Thanks

Thanks ringin.

Do all captains start on the min or is your start pay determined by your hours?
How much extra are the SBP and Checkies getting?

You start at the top and as I said it is then reviewed annually.

SBP 10%

Training 10%

Check & Training 20%

can you advise what the likely shift rotation would be, (eg: 2days, 2 nights, 2 off), and also the shift start/end (eg 0600 - 1800, 1800 -0600).

Thanks

Their website now accepting applications for Cairns base.

Interesting to see they are also recruiting for Darwin. Maybe people have left as that base has been up and running for quite a few months now. Is their recruitment on track?

People are relocating themselves to the other bases. They were "given" the option of moving.

Does anyone know what experience level the successful applicants have had?

I’ve applied, but nothing heard thus far. I have 6000+ hours, 5000+ command, 4500+ multi and 3000+ turbine, substantial time above 5700kg.

I’m looking for a change, going from A to B and back again is getting boring.

Any information would be appreciated.

Most of the quotes are correct, however one does need to be corrected. During your shifts you are not required to be at the base the whole time, during the quite hours, i.e. 1800L to 0600L you are at home, however have to be at the airport within an allocated time.

You don't need to know about the gear in the back if you want a job with them you know.

I’m hearing conflicting reports regarding the pay for Captains, can anyone who has been offered a position please post (or PM) what you were offered.

How many pilots per base are they looking for?

I’m still chasing any other information on the operation.

Thanks
